Blonde Moment

O.K. I am completely laughing right now. We have been anxiously preparing for Super Bowl Sunday. We are having a little par-tay at the Ramirez home. So far we have 5 families coming. Let's get real here. It's not the Super Bowl . . . or the actual football game that I enjoy. I love eating all the Super Bowl party food. We canceled our cable/satellite service a couple years ago. We have rabbit ears and get fuzzy reception of 3 maybe 4 local channels. Cristian just asked me if we even have the channel that the Super Bowl is going to be broadcast on. OOPS. How do I explain to the 5+ football fanatics/husbands (will the 12 children and 5 wives really be watching???) that their game is not going to be broadcast in High Definition? Will the fact that we have a stylin' surround sound make up for the deficit in the lousy picture? Everyone can LISTEN to the game right??? Right? Serves me right for throwing a party on a Sunday.

Oh, that is too funny. A party without the tv! I guess that's what you get for being a heathen, huh? I wish I could come. I bet the food is going to be delicious. Hilarious MST plus Island Standard Time. That would drive me nuts.

i'm still in mourning. i can't talk about it.
i hope the food was good, because that would likely be the only thing worth remembering about that black, black day.

Ha ha, suckers! I hope you just set up a radio and huddled by the food while the dumb men watched the kids act out the game.

Funny...If we had been invited to your party, I wouldn't have minded a bit. (My husband, on the other hand...)
