Lessons Learned

Hi! I'm back. Did you miss me? It has been approximately 18 months since I last wrote a blog entry. I was reluctant to continue posting, since I wanted to erase an entire chapter or two from my life. I have come to realize that history cannot be rewritten. It cannot be forgotten. However, I can continue to learn from past experiences. I am grateful for all of the trials and tribulations that were thrown my way several years ago. Guess what? I learned that I can do difficult things. I learned that I am a fighter. I learned that being able to navigate through life's difficult moments shaped me into the person that I am today. I learned that Heavenly Father hears and answers prayers. Most importantly, I learned that Jesus Christ heals broken souls and heals broken hearts. There is power in forgiveness. Likewise, there is power in repentance. I learned that life goes on.
