Can I just tell you how CUTE Tino is? And can I also tell you he has no idea in the whole entire planet that children get new backpacks every year before school starts? Here is his backpack history: Preschool 3, Preschool 4, Kindergarten: Thomas the Tank Engine backpack 1st grade: little red teeny tiny backpack that didn't fit anything and was used for the 2 weeks he was in 1st grade and then given away to Goodwill 2nd grade: Scooby Doo wheel backpack 3rd grade: Scooby Doo for a couple of months until it broke and then Cristian's Eddie Bauer backpack he used in college 4th grade: Cristian's Eddie Bauer backpack from college 5th grade: Why would Tino need a backpack if the backpack he has been using for the last 2 years and the backpack his papi used for 4 years is perfectly fine??? He feels more "comfortable" using his old backpack and a new backpack isn't "necessary". (Words in quotation marks are Tino's words he used this morning while trying to convince me that we wouldn't need to go after school today to buy him a new backpack.) I don't know how many more times this backpack can hold up in the washing machine. We'll give it a try for another year.

Just keep the bananas out of the pockets and I think you are good to go.
Hey Heidi, yay! Now we can all coment on each others blogs. I finally set mine up and I can Post Comments. As for Rob, he's still learning. But, he loves checking the comments. This is such a good way to keep in touch with the near and far! The kids are getting so big and so cute! Miss you!
Just don't buy one of those backpacks with rollers. The kid is going to school not on an airplane! We seemed to be able to hoist the backpack on the espalda with no lasting back problems.
Note to self...no quinceira. The boys sitting around in their tuxes, top hats and canes drooling over the girl is like sending the lamb into the lions den.
Hey heidi
I have officially put you all bloggers on my favorites page. Maybe I'll figure this thing out soon and I'll join ya all in web-land.
